There is something so ethereal about winter weddings. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite weddings was a February wedding that I attended as a guest. Greenery peeking through the snow, a cozy church filled with loved ones, and a warm fire to snuggle in front of made for a wedding that could only be described as magical. I will never forget watching my one of my dearest friends in the world come in from the snow and shrug her shoulders as she warmed up - all with the biggest smile beaming through her beautiful face. It makes me smile just thinking of it. So if you're contemplating a winter wedding and your friends think you're crazy, we assure you that you are not! There is something very special about a winter wedding.
Placing lots of candles for ambiance on a cold night will create the perfect intimate setting for your big day. Just to sweeten the deal, winter season rates are typically lower and can save money that maybe you want to put toward a tropical honeymoon! Just saying! But beyond the cozy church and the fireplace, it's really fur stoles, greenery bouquets, and white dresses that we get dreamy eyed about. The classic signature style of a winter wedding is what really endears our hearts to them. We can't wait to see what the rest of the 2018 winter season has in store!
And with this crazy weather - who knows - you might just luck out with a 60 degree day! But don't bank on it!
